Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully. We do however, reserve the right, if necessary, to provide information to the relevant authorities for preventing fraud. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. Only necessary information is captured from you for the process of ordering; mandatory required fields are clearly marked during the checkout process. You may elect not to provide information for non-mandatory fields. The type of information we will collect about you includes your name, address, phone number, email address & credit/debit card details. Credit/Debit card and address data is not stored in unencrypted form on our server and is captured in a secure manner. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. We only store information pertaining directly to your order on our computers for the minimum time necessary for us to process and account for your order.
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site and all communications with the server are carried out using 128 bit SSL; SSL is an acronym for Secure Sockets Layer. A technology used on the Internet to secure web pages and transactions by means of public key cryptography. A digitally secure communications channel is established between the server and the client after which all data is encrypted. Message integrity is provided by the use of digital signatures, and trust in an individual or a website is ascertained by using digital certificates which are signed by a Certificate Authority acting as a "trusted third party".
